November 2021 – April 2025
Bolstering Agriculture System’s Ability to Invest, Nourish, and Employ (BASATINE) is a 4 year programme that aims to develop a more sustainable local food system by working with farmers, individuals and companies operating in the cereals, legumes and vegetables value chains in Bekaa and Akkar regions.
December 2019 – May 2023
The Fostering Resilience by Strengthening Abilities II (FORSA II) program aims at facilitating access to education and employment for Lebanese and Syrian youth and young adults. This is a three-year program that had already started in December 2019 and will be implemented throughout to May 2023 in the Bekaa and South of Lebanon.
November 2022- April 2024
The “Services and Assistance For Enabling Recovery” (SAFER) program aims to reduce the economic suffering and protection risks faced by the most vulnerable Lebanese populations households residing in the Bekaa area. Mercy Corps provides cash assistance to the most affected households, who are not receiving help from other organizations. This assistance will help them with their basic needs.
August 2021 – November 2022
In response to information gaps and a lack of data centralization on the impact of multiple crises on Lebanon, Mercy Corps has created the Lebanon Crisis Analytics Team (LCAT). LCAT aims to promote informed decision making and interventions to improve the humanitarian response to affected communities in Lebanon.
